Business & Leadership for Changing Economic Conditions

I write about the decisions leaders face when economic conditions change—business cycles, pricing, cost, cash flow, risk, organizational resilience, leadership, and preparing an organization for what comes next.

Business & Leadership

Changing economic conditions test more than a business plan. They test the assumptions behind pricing, costs, cash flow, risk, investment, staffing, and leadership decisions.

My Business & Leadership writing examines how executives, owners, boards, and leadership teams can better recognize changing conditions, understand their consequences, and prepare their organizations to respond with discipline rather than crisis.

Books in Development

I am developing a series of four books on Business & Leadership that focus on business cycles, economic change, organizational resilience, and the decisions leaders make before, during, and after periods of disruption.

The first book examines the business cycle and the practical decisions that can help organizations prepare for changing conditions rather than simply react to them.

Experience Behind the Writing

Pricing, Cost
& Cash Flow

My Business & Leadership writing is grounded in more than three decades of professional experience spanning public accounting, financial leadership, manufacturing, and executive management.

During twenty-four years with a manufacturing organization, I served as Chief Financial Officer, and President and CEO. Periods of growth, organizational change, and severe economic contraction made pricing, cost, cash flow, risk, leadership, and disciplined decision-making operating realities rather than abstract management concepts.

Today, I bring those experiences to my work as an author.
